Spent the day on a 12 mile bike ride round Derwent Valley with my family — backside now a little blue —think I may go for a ladies bike next time.

Hey Jonny, I may have not seen you for ages, but I too found myself awake most of the night thinking about you and Annabelle and all the family.

So many of the names already on this blog are fab people who I have grown up with in Huddersfield and they are all willing you on to make a speedy recovery – we may all be busy with hectic lives, jobs and children (well apart from me, an ageing old spinster who lives on her own and who’s apartment is starting to smell of cat pee, even though I don’t have any cats!!), but true friends are never far away and you have a whole army of them willing you on and I’m sure you won’t let them down.

Look forward to hearing that the cheeky smile has returned and your giving the nurses some grief!

Annabelle – if you need a different diversion for the kids, then just let me know and I’ll get my Santa’s ‘ickle elfer outfit on and get the ride warmed up (that sounds a bit dodgy doesn’t it, but you know what i mean!). Wish I could do more for you, but my thoughts are with you all.

its jawbys stag do (the reslution hotel whitby 3 am)
jonny collapses worse for wear in my and Guys room. Scared of him waking and continuing his onslaught we load him into a whelchair in the hall way, call the lift and send it to the ground floor. Guilt pangs take oer 10 minutes later so we recall the lift- there is no jony, no wheelchair but just one of his expensive nike trainers! We retire safe in the knowledge he has hopped off somewhere.
He is found asleep on a porcelain throne in the ladies by the cleaners the next day! Needless to say it didnt hamper his performance the next day.
Hoping this is just the same J and you wake with the same joie de vivre you did then!
LOL mate, just thinking how many fun times we have all had with youplenty more to come.
