    Hello again

Know its not long since since I last posted…HOWEVER myself and Aunty Betty (sister Becky for others not in the know we have aged her to Coronation Street behind the Rovers Return standard) and I have just had a fab couple of hours with the ole bloke…Squeezed my hand loads of times and was awake and listening! I have come home with glee wondering what other instructions I can give him…..”pick up your underpants, bring me a cuppa in a morning, make the bed, flush the toilet….”. I can definitely sense some kind of mantra developing!

    Hello again…

Well have had a jam packed week…Nathan (happy flapper clapper Mr Autism) has decided he must now attack everyone that comes to our house, a good bite on the hand is his favourite…The playroom is totally out of bounds to everyone apart from him, unless you can help him get out of the mess he has created on the computer…Tamsin has won the prize for whinge bag of the year, James and I have decided its official….we are off to get her a medal this week. And poor James has burnt his eye whilst playing at a friends, quite badly, and as yet I have still not managed to get a full story from him – like father like son.

Jonny it turns out is pretty stable with all the mayhem at home…seems to be following in the Hamster’s footsteps. Yes he is now in a bed once occupied by Richard Hammond. When apparently the nurses asked Mr RH during his neuro obs, “What Year is it” – 1970, well done, “Can you tell us who the Stig is” – NO! – Not confused at all then!!

Anyway have decided with the kids they are in need of new pets as a treat for doing so good – James and Tamsin want fish, think I will add to the doggy number at home, and Nathan, well I think a chew toy from the pet shop will suffice very nicely.

    Hi Jonny,
James and Tasmin came for a play yesterday and they got on very well with Charlie. Charlie and Tamsin were especially giggly, up to mischief with Uno cards!! I can’t quite believe they haven’t played before. Where does time go??? Lily was furious that she didn’t see them as she was at Stagecoach so we’ll have to have another visit soon to satisfy madam.
We’ve been sat in the hospital this evening following Charlie’s impulsive decision to bite a glow stick! I was thinking that’s the sort of thing you would have done as a kid. We waited 2 hours to be told ‘give him a glass of milk and he should be fine’. We are waiting for him to turn into the Incredible Hulk when he next gets cross.
We are all thinking of you loads. Charlie and Lily were very taken with Bob’s story of why you became Jonny Willy and thankfully Charlie has stopped the incessant questioning.
    Take care

Good morning Jonny. Well tonight you are going to be sorely missed as it is Sacha’s 40th birthday. You were supposed to be heading down south to stay with us and getting hideously drunk. I know you’ll be disgruntled about not coming as the theme is 80’s style so just up your street. You only have to open your wardrobe and you’re there….Ashes to Ashes are inspired by your eclectic fashion collection! Seriously Jonny, we wish more than anything in the world that you were coming as it won’t be the same without your shite chat up lines, pirhouetting with pints of beer in your hands and falling into bushes and your embarassing dad’s dancing. Between you and me, I think Steveo’s a wee bit relieved as he won’t be put on drunken brother-in-law baby sitting which always seems to be his role when he is out with you! We love you so much Jonny and just want you to sort your sen out so we can get back to having a few sherberts together. Love you lots. Sally, Steveo & Poppy.x

    Jonny,
You need one of the children to jump on the bed and land on the “bag” (just like the incident in Tom Sharpe’s “Wilt Alternative”) where he then experienced the “excrutiating pain of urinating backwards” That’ll wake you up!
Keep fighting. I am experiencing curry withdrawal symptoms waiting for the next burner.

    Hi Jonny

Just got the blog details from our Ruth. Wanted to keep up with your progress without bothering Annabelle, who is doing an amazing job. You should be very proud of her.

Really shocked to hear about your tumble but really glad to hear you are at least back on the road to recovery. Keep fighting. We’ll hopefully see you riding your mountain bike on your very old route up Horn Cote Lane past our house soon.

Kirsty & I and a friend of ours did the Huddersfield Examiner Charity Challenge mountain bike ride on Sunday. A fairly tame 16ish miles but the start is a bugger going straight up Harden Moss from Meltham. Best bit by far was going down the Wessenden Valley; got some good speed up and even managed to get some ‘air’ over the cattle grid ramp.

Might have a go with the pasture topper Dad got from you soon to see if it still works. It had to live outside this winter as we put the straw under the shed where it used to be. Need to stick it on the back of the tractor, grease it up and give it whirl to attack some docks with it as a trial and then maybe we’ll get to use it properly later this year if the fields don’t turn to soup like they did last year after all the bloody rain.

Anyway, by the looks of all the other comments here you’ve got a hell of a lot of people rooting for you. Us too.

    Keep on getting better.

From one Johnny to another (there must be a joke in there somewhere) all the best from everyone at Fulstone Hall Farm.

John, Kirsty, Charlotte, Jack and Judith (mum)

Hi Jonny, bin away for a few days and had a right good time busy working !

there was a young man in frankfurt
who drank so much grappa it hurt
    his flight was delayed
    then got waylayed
and the man was arrested by Kurt

yes, all that and more last week in Germanyland. I thought i would go out in style (your style) in Frankfurt last Friday and after several guinness and Kilkenny in the city centre I found myself in a fine Italian restaurant in the leafy suburb in which i was staying. after a coupple of G&T’s, a nice Barolo and a couple of grappas I found myself wandering down the hard shoulder of a dual carriageway !

This despite the fact that I had originally only turned out of my hotel once left and left again for a max of 500 yard to the restaurant !

when i woke up the following morning and got myself to the airport I was told that my 11.00 am flight to Manchester was cancelled but I could go to Birmingham instead….

To cut along story short, having been thru security once, I had to go through it again when I had to change gates. this time the security man decided to have a look inside my very overpacked bag. Fine.

as the grappa haze took over and I screamed at him for the 3rd time “I have been through effing security 100 effing yards ago, are you going to close my effing bag now?”

he looked at me and said ” my job is to open ze bag. Your job is to close it !” Quality.

    Anyhow, I’ll see ya soon.

    Hi Jonny boy.

Well; I put the numbers on the Euromillions as I said I would and guess what – we won! Problem is, the prize money was a meagre £5.40, so not quite what I was expecting. Still, it’s a start, and I’m hoping next week’s effort will be more fruitful.

LeMans MotoGP today. Rossi fell off once, swapped his bike about three times due to tyres and regulations, got a penalty for speeding in the pit lane, but all the same he persevered – and came in last :-) That’s just like you Jonny – doesn’t matter what odds are stacked against you – you know that it’s still worth battling on to see what you can achieve rather than throw in the towel. Keep up that fighting spirit mate and you’ll be back with us before you know it.

Love to you and the family,

    Cheers,

So, I have had a cheeky smile from the old chap…also bones healing nicely, has been sat in a chair for small periods..won’t be long before the nurses feel the pinch!! Ha ha

There is another 8 year old (no nickname yet though), lives in the shadow of a previous 8/9 year old, who also rides a bikes, in the garden, in the wood…it must be something in the blood. Currently though is well into football…a few weeks back I had to post a letter for him…addressed only as “Fernando Torres, Liverpool Football Club” and inside, Dear Fernando, Please would you like to come to my house for tea?”….We did get a reply….a signed photo…needless to say, he was very pleased with that…

Hi Jonny – sorry to use your message board to trade messages with others – I’m sure you won’t mind – it’s about you anyway… My little lad wanted to know how you got the name Jonny Willy and Bob has provided us the answer.

Bob – thanks for the explanation. My little boy, Charlie, is now content. Sorry to hear your dad never asked you about your days out crossing, instead asking after Jonny. However, I know that Jonny has always held you in the highest esteem, especially for your biking prowess. I remember walking up the lane from Jonny’s to yours and he would tell me, on the way, about just how amazing you were on a bike. He said he could be flat-out trying all he could and you could just breeze past him like he wasn’t moving. Perhaps that was when he was 8 years old on his little bike and you were on your GSXR1100 :-) (I think that was one of the bikes you had in those days).

Jonny, I’m sure you’re still progressing nicely old mate; keep up the fight and we’ll all be seeing you before too long.

Love to you and all the family,

    Tommy.

    Hi Jonny

Just checking up on you and glad to see the progress is in the right direction now you ‘re back in Yorkshire,a short verse had to be written !!!

There was a quick man on a bike
Who was known as a grand Yorkshire Tyke

An outing he took for a spin down the hill
and with normal exuberence he had a wee spill

It did but materialise he’d cornered too deep
but with care and compassion is now having a sleep

We all hope he’s mending by his own fair design
with some magic Connections thus taking his time

A special hot curry could have consequence dire
stimulation is hoped for through his own “Ring of Fire”

We look foward to seeing him soon up and about
with a beer fund being readied with now’t taken out !!

Take care and keep mending !!

    All the very best

    Mike

    Hi to all you Hillbillies,
This is to Charlie Mckenzie, hello young fella. I read your message and this is where Jonnys name came from. When I first came across Jonny, he was just a kid, who moved into the big house, just down the road from me. I’m guessing, but he was probably about 8 or 9 years old. Even then he had a little motorbike, which he rode at full speed everywhere. This is with his even younger sisters on the back, their coats hanging off, covered in mud, and nothing on their heads but smiles. I had motorbikes myself, and as soon as he realised, he would call at my (parents) house every two minutes to see if I would play out. I was about 18 or 19 at the time, and at first didn’t know his name. my dad, teasing me, asked who my new friend was, the first name that came to mind was Willy. Of course, e soon got to know his real name, as he was at my home more often than I was. My dad really took to him, I think because Jonny showed interest in my dads pidgeons. As a result, he would always make sure I knew that Jonny Willy from down the road had been looking for me.
Come to think of it. A few years later, Jonny and myself used to go MotoX riding. Every Sunday evening, after a days riding I would have a soak in the bath, and clean up my injuries. My dad, without fail, would ask me how young Jonny Willy had gone on. Not once did he ask how I had done.
I don’t know why that came to mind,
Better than a rhyme, I think you’l find,
Or even a poem of some kind,
Da de da, De da, most definately not signed.

    Hi Jonny

Mr Keo here. I must say I was shocked to hear your news, but not surprised!! I passed you on Banana Bay driving that old Mod Scooter. Not surprised you fell off!!!!!!

You need to get yr arse out here to recuperate. What could be better than lying by the pool in the Cyprus Sun, Keo in one hand and whatever you like in the other. The Girls in the Banana Club say hi and they are missing you.

No news on the marina yet. Coming Soon is the latest. Work is slow but signs of recovery. Had a good game of cards last night at Simon’s house. Played 4, one 1, drank many!!!

Anyway have to go for the moment, its 9pm over here and after a night with the boys playing cards I’m having an early night. Its all right for you lying around in bed all day, some of us have to get up at stupid O’Clock and take the kids to school.

Will let you know how the weekend goes.

But I’m home alone with young Rosie soundly tucked up in bed and Fiona on nights after an eventful round trip with Davey Gravy to the smoke. Full english at Tibshelf, followed by your old man snoozing as far as M25, then nearly bumping off a weirdy beardy cyclist in Islington who couldn’t tell his flying helmet from his bike clips – bloody southeners…
They say accidents happen in 3’s… I managed to spill 2lts of varnish on my stone flagged floor at the weekend, drop a farm gate on Flo’s Mini bonnet and then fall off my push iron yesterday – I was doing precisely 0mph and couldn’t get my foot out of my spd’s. Quality.
You’ll be pleased to hear the reclusive long fingered Frenchman is in town and were using the fact that you’re in Leeds as an excuse for a night out on Friday with DJ Nev – should be interesting.
See you soon mate – be strong.

    Lots of Love to all.

    Tim

    Hi John boy –

Another day in bed eh? Well – it’s another day closer to getting out of it I suppose.

I just thought I’d ask you to make sure I’m there when you have your first curry and beer session after this episode. It’s gonna be a beauty ‘cos you’ll be thinking you can carry on where you left off and you’ll be all over the shop. Your rejuvinated tastebuds will be screaming for mercy and you’ll be as pissed as a fart on your first pint. Can’t wait! :-)

Love to you and all the family,

    Cheers,

    Tommy.

Think I need to make up a prize for the best poet, did not realise we had so many budding Wilfreds out there, or more like Mr Beans…if people care to submit their offerings… Just wondering what to do as a prize!! Night out with the wife, Shepley Spring Festival Tickets (James you must be able to pull a fast one here)…Phil’s missed appointment with Dr Khan.. Well there is just far too much choice…
Also selling off Jonny’s bike collection, been keeping me busy- there are about 6 big ones, and 5 little ones (hangover bikes)…Maybe we could start an auction…

    Apologies just blabbing away..
Been to see the old Mr Chatty tonight, kept yawning at me, but did enjoy his Womack and Womack (hoping we are all in the right age group on this blog)…Teardrops in my eye, reminds me baby of you…and a little Snow Patrol, “if l lay here, would you lie with me and just forget the world…” Love you darling xx

Well hey Jonny, that was one hell of a weekend. Fandabidozi, or as Simon Le Bon once said (and don’t ask me how i know this) Ace banana fabbo !

oh yes, any excuse to slap the make up on and were a dress and that was just the transvestites of which there was a remarkably high number in town.

Welcome to the wacky world of the Holmfirth Folk Festival. Bells, beards and bowler hats. Boot polish, men in skirts, clogs and bottle bottom spectacles for some reason, small sticks, big sticks, drums and pagan dancing stuff. Like a trainspotters convention an acid.

As Ken Dodd would have said ‘what a day for wandering aorund the streets with some real ale, rolling tabs and eating some local organic rabbit pie !’

Highly recommended for next year. Great days for all the family even – probably !

the morris men came from afar
    in their biodegradable car
    some wore bowler hats
    and danced like right t***s
tra la la tra la la tra la la

    keep on keeping on Jonny.

    Hello Jonny
Got caried away last week and thought I read that YOU were sitting up in bed reading. Unlike Rob I can’t use the cataracts excuse…..
I believe that you and Rob got locked in your rooms at the Mortal Man up in the lakes? I think the Beast was getting amorous with the manageress and got what for but think he was hoping for something else. She was just his type – six foot with a hairy back.
I think it was also the weekend of the World Cup qualifier between England and Greece and pretty boy Beckham score that brilliant free kick? There was that posh lad in the corner who kept making stupid comments and the Farrow brothers had to be restrained from chinning him.
Didn’t you also get locked in the room at Abersock or was that just Rob “I love the sound of breaking glass” Charnock?
    Keep getting better mate.

    Hi J

Went to see Morrissey last night so it has cheered me up to learn that there have been improvements your end- good lad.

I can confirm that the manageress of the Mortal man did in fact chin Brownie, if I remember rightly the whole pub were queing up in teh car park for a go. He spent the whole evening patronising the poor bearded “shepherd” with his two collies, wondering what damage the foot and mouth outbreak had caused him. When I spoke to him he told me ” your mate is a cock, Ive told him three times I am a nuclear physicist at winscale but he just doesnt want to hear it- call him off or hes going down !”

Good weekend for all once we had locked you and Robbie C in your room ( for your own safety). the smoke coming out from under the doors smelt like the West indies Changing room, When we came to get you both out in the morning, the walls were covered in shaving foam, the furniture was all over teh place and you two were naked on the floor. A very frighteneing trip indeed!

    Take care pal

Jonny Boy. Mim`s birthday today. Can`t believe she`s 62 already. Doesn`t look it. Mind you what would i know with mi` cataracts. She`s got a load of friends round tomorrow so I`ve got to bail out, could be messy.
Anyway mate there`s been some chatter this week about a lad`s weekend in the Lakes. Not sure I could face that one without your good self. I seem to recall on our last outing we were imprisoned in our room for either peaking too soon or too often. Needless to say the paperclips helped us pick the locks and the rest is history.
I am pretty sure this was the tour that Chrissy Brown got chinned by the MANAGERESS of the hotel, can someone please confirm.
Long one short. Get yourself “reet” by the middle of June or I am going to have to come and borrow you for the night. Keep at it mate. Need you pretty soon.

    John Willy

There is a young man named John Willy
Who sometimes quite frankly could be really silly (we like that)

When but a bairn he rode on a trike (probably red)
As he got older this morphed into a bike

Now whilst travelling at speed the bastard thing it took flight
Putting our John Willy in a terrible plight

Family and friends are all totally aghast
Everyone rallying and praying for a recovery FAST

His wife and children are hero’s and heroine’s
Been to hell and back but have the will to win

So come on John Willy sleep if you must
But get a bloody move on before all ‘t’ pubs go bust!

One last thing; then we must hurry
Get your arse round to ours for a bloody good curry……

Love you lots Jawbs & Sue x

    Hiya Jon,

I wonder if anyone got you on video at that furniture conference thing you spoke at… Sounds like a pearler…

I thought of some music that might provoke a reaction from you – Joe Satriani. Remember when we went to see Satch in Manchester that time? As a ‘guitarist’ myself I was well into it – but after about 40 minutes you said: “Come on, this is boring, let’s go for a curry”, so that’s what we did. So – the musical link isn’t actually for the gig but for the curry that we enjoyed so much after leaving!

    Catch up with you soon,

    Tommy.

    Hi hon,

Well as usual I’m supposed to be going to bed but just logged on to see what you’ve been up to. Glad your back up north where you belong and on the mend. I’ve being trying to think up a witty poem to beat Jane’s but it’s proving hard so watch this space.

To keep you updated with family affairs John came home last night with a new pet……. a bloody ferret! He was at work at the driving range and a customer informed him there was a white ferret in bay 6, it was tame so of course he brings it home. He’s now introduced it to the kids and they’ve named him Bobby so if I accidentally on purpose let him out and loose him I’ll be the baddy. So watch out Annabelle if he escapes you may have a wandering friend for Louie and he might keep our ever expanding rabbit family under control!

Tommy Cooper Jokes… And he said ‘My dog doesn’t eat meat’. I said ‘Why not?’. He said ‘We don’t give him any’

I went to the doctor. He said ‘you’ve got a very serious illness’.
I said ‘I want a second opinion’. He said ‘all right, you’re ugly as well’.

I went to the doctor the other day I said ‘have you got anything for wind’ so he gave me a kite.

I got home from work and the wife said – I’m very sorry dear, but the cat’s eaten your dinner’.
I said ‘Dont worry – I’ll get you a new cat’.

Sometimes I drink my whiskey neat.
Other times I take my tie off and leave my shirt out.

I hurt my back the day.
I was playing piggy back with my 6 year old nephew, and I fell off.

Fopr those who remember Jonny’s shambolic keynote speech to the British Furniture Federation….

There was a young entrepeneur from Kirkheaton,
Who by a keynote address was not beaten.

Once upoa a time (today) in a faraway land (huddersfield) there lived two beautiful Princesses………

Yes we were back at Swimming today…The giggles started in the changing room and continued into the pool,, they both swam fantastically practising doing their froggy legs. ( breastroke )

The beauty parlour was in full swing and they both emerged from the changing room with silverkrin hair……….( remember those ads many years ago…..) smelling of Chanel and with a touch of lipgloss.

They turned heads…….And this is at only THREE years old.

As always Tamsin was a delight and went home with a very smiley face ……..

    THE END

    Jane – what a poet – i never knew!
Jonny it is most definately your shout! Anywhere you like; Woody, Farmers, Acres, Laxmi, Bengal, Hong Kong, Dubai, Sydney ………
I have to say that the lads are looking a tad worse for wear at the moment as they’re having to drink your rounds as well as their own! Jonny you’re gonna have to take out a loan at this rate! Only saving grace is J G Lover is back from his honeymoon, so the Woodman should start to see a slight improvement in its takings!
Goods to see James in good spirits on Sunday – we had a lovely lunch and James & Harry kept the twins occupied for most of the time!
How’s the legs now Annabelle? What a hero!

    Hi JH

Our new products look amazing – not that I’m boasting but the fabric choices for the new brochure have turned out great !! And yes there are a few signature green items for you to wake up too!

and so not to be out done I’ve knocked out a few lines to join in on the tasteful limericks to keep you smiling,

There was an old man from near Shelley
Who was obsessed with the size of his growing belly
he promised to cut out drinking beer
but alas it is now VERY clear
he couldn’t stop drinking pubs dry round here!!!

Ha ha – one to beat I think Tim

Glad to hear you’re back in Yorkshire mate. I must admit, every time i see a biker i think of you.

Anyway, when you’re out it’s about time you came round with the sprogs and we taught them how to have a “FIRE” and make some “Grannie’s Goulash”!!!

See you soon mate and haven’t you got alot of friends…incredible!

    Hey Jonny,

it’s amazing what brings out the competitive spirit in people, or maybe just me !

There once was a man on a bike
He fell of to avoid a tax hike
    The nurses all cheered
    Some mates grew a beard
And 100’s blogged jokes and the like !

    Keep fighting Jonny.

Just heard about what happened last night mate so hope you recover soon.
Having read the limerick above, I offer you the following, something what I wrote myself: *ahem*

There was a young lady from Stoke
It was said that she looked like a bloke
    On occasion she may
    Pass herself of as gay
    To bamboozle more curious folk

Hello mate – thinking of you as usual.

Just to let you know – there’s no point you getting up just at the moment – I’d maintain that low profile for a bit longer. The weather outside is terrible – it’s been raining and blowing a gale all day and it’s well chilly. Really windy tonight especially (that’s me and the weather). I gave up on the weather reporters / forecasts years ago. They haven’t got a F’ing clue what they’re on about. They spend millions on satellites and tracking helicopters etc. and can only really tell you what might happen in the next 30mins. I can do that no problem. A sniff of the air, a look at the clouds, and I can give you a more accurate forecast than the so called ‘professionals’ any day.

I don’t really have a clue what tomorrow’s weather is going to bring – but at the same time I can quite confidently say that it will be: “Cloudy, with possible patchy rain, and some glorious sunny periods”. It’s May for F’s sake – what else would you expect? :-)

    See you soon buddy,

    Tommy.

No Doubt.. the Channel Swimmers will be concentrating on their backstroke this week ( they touched on it last week and did very well.

Mummy is looking forward to her session at the mirror again with Princess Tamsin.

Last week this consisted of a blowdry of her absolutely amazing…….hair, followed by a small squirt of Coco Chanel and a little lipgloss…..

    Hello dear b-in-l, I

t’s been a few days, maybe a few more but honestly I’d love to say you’ve missed a lot but truth is frankly it’s been pretty low key…. except of course that while nathan was hot footing it out at Magna with the Adrian, James, William, and Tamsin were putting on a showtime of their own at your house! (Sorry Edward, he wasn’t invited to join in, couldn’t get his lines right!). Oh yes, there was a real life theatre show in your sitting room. Don’t worry, you didn’t miss a thing, we’ve got all 2 hours of it on video for a hospital special!!!! Kidding, (only a few mins) it was spectacular. Annabelle is getting quite creative at finding ways to get a few relaxation minutes these days!! Really it was lovely and quite funny.

On a slightly more serious note, you should be so proud of the children jonny. They have been so incredibly strong over all this. I’ve spent quite a bit of time with them over these past few weeks and they are really special kids. I know you know this too, but they are taking it all in their stride. Frankly, they are coping amazingly well given all the disruption this has had to their lives.

Much love to you. Glad to hear it’s all going in the right direction.

    Jonny,

Since my last updates, I’ve been doing some research to see if Limericks really do have a link to Ireland – and they do…..they are a pub song/chorus, sung originally in Limerick of all places!

What else did I find out….
    1) The content of many limericks are often of a bawdy and of humorous nature;
    2) they are by nature simple and short

(notice any similarities with yourself ?!?!)

Anyway, here comes part two…., and beleive me there’s plenty more, if necessary:

” There is a fantastic MD at Connection,
    who everyone loves with affection,
    he fell off his motorcycle,
and some people are taking the Michael,
but, we all want him back for direction.”

All is well back at Connection. All the year end targets have been acheived, NPD and brochures are steaming ahead and day to day things are going well too.

Everyone wishes you a speedy recovery and hopefully you’ll get all the recorded messages shortly.

Hope to see you soon. Take care,

    Tim.

    Hi Jonny,
We have been away at the caravan for a sunny, windy bank holiday weekend with friends and have had a great time, a few funny stories to tell, but will keep them for later!!!
Anyway dropped James off the other night after school and that was eventful in itself. No keys could be found (were eventually) and what with the electric gates that caused a few problems!!!!! Nathan was due to be dropped off so we decided if I pulled my car up just inside the gates, they would stay open and all ok. Me and Annabelle’s mum were chatting and suddenly the gates started to close (luckily we hadnt moved far, and still by my car) and thought shit “what do we do now”, so we stood there pushing the gates away so my car wasnt crushed!!!! I jumped in and reversed as quick as I could, so no damage to the car luckily!!! Finn and James were oblivious to any of this, bless them!!!
I’ve heard the gates are stilll working thank god!!! Just another day really!!!! Thank god we were stood there, can you imagine my little car being crushed by your big gates!!

Lots of love to you and all xx

Was down at the purple place, a biker bar in el dorado hills, northern California yesterday – I got pulled into a pancreas-biting drinking session with some Folsom Prison guards who take their riding and their hogs VERY seriously – they send you all their “good powers” and a speedy recovery “man” – the kettle one vodka was flowing and the accident filled stories were told, all with happy endings (apart from the sudden deaths of course…which is thankfully NOT your case) – all that to say, you’re story has traveled around the globe by all accounts Jonny – wishing you the very best for your recovery and to your family during this difficult time

    “Free Willy” – that’s what I say!

Glad to hear things are steadily improving with you fella. I take solace from the fact that, every day you’re lying in bed, you are allowing your bones to heal. Once you’ve sorted that out you’ll be able to take command of your body again and focus more on your mental state.

You’re needed back in the ‘real’ world Jonny. I know it must be a very unfamiliar sensation for you at the moment – looking out on things rather than being in complete control of the situation. We all need you to start putting down that carbon [fiber] footprint of yours again soon, as all the positive effects from you far outweigh any environmentally measurable effects…

I bought the Euromillions ticket today with numbers I related to you. It’s at the ready, so be prepared for a rapid wakeup call on Friday night!

Hope you’re enjoying the fresh nurse landscape up north :-)

    Love – Tommy.

Jonny Willy you`d better hurry up `cos I`ve found a Hill I want to spend more time with than you. Aidy will fill you in on the finer details but just had a stunner with your Nath.
Went to pick up my boys from Aidy & Liz`s this morning. They wanted to go to Magna with Joseph and Nathan. I wanted to go to the Smith`s to loose the hangover but Liz can be very persausive especially with the cleavage in full view.
Magna is great but the outside playground was fantastic. Very busy so Nath and I got an icecream and decided we would clear the shitbags off the climbing frames by intimidation. Aidy studied events fairly closely and decided to join in. We had the place to ourselves in minutes.
The boys were fairly boring so Aidy, myself and Nath had a drive round looking at all the development work going on in the area. Long one short the 3 of us have put an offer in on 151,459 sq ft just off the M1. Aidy reckons he needs about 100,000. I need about 50,000 and Nath is happy to use both for a nominal fee.
The journey back up the M1 was one of pure hilarity. My boys and Joseph were being their usual selves. Nath took one look at Josh and made to eat his arm which soon cooled his boots.
Annabelle he is a star and a pleasure to be with. Bring him over to us anytime and we can go cow tipping in the bottom field.
Responding to earlier comments. Jonny don`t listen to Smithy, your cloth is coming along beautifully. What he forgets is that we had to take into consideration his age and infirmity when we made his cloth. This limited us to a heavier cloth due to his feeling the cold and in a darker shade to hide the piss stains.
C`mon Jonny Willy! Nathan, Aidy myself and the boys all really miss you. Bank Holidays aren`t the same so wake up and get ready for the next one !!
    Robby Boy.

Hi bad boy – I’m getting as bad as Tim, posting at crazy hours of the night. Hope you are settling in back up North – I’m sure the air up here will help to heal you all the faster.

Other than rampant pig flu, there’s nothing much to report from the news. Euromillions jackpot next Friday will be around 110 Million squid – biggest jackpot in history – if someone wins it outright. If I win it (odds are slightly against me (and everyone else) at 76,000,000:1), I’ll return every penny in exchange for you snapping out of your extended sleep and coming back to us all. Actually, being realistic, I’d keep a few grand to buy some more guitars and do the cellar out :-) .

Anyway – I’m gonna buy a ticket this week on your behalf – with some numbers which I’ll relate uniquely to you. I’ll let you know how I get on (from Mauritius if necessary!).

Up late as Usual so I thought I would send you a message.

The Drama Queens had a lovely day……………

It started with their Drama class, this was followed by a trip to the designer childrens shoe shop…
Every little girls.. and Big girls favourtie pasttime.

As there were only the two Princesses in the shop they had THREE……..assistants to see to their every need. ( visualise that scene from Pretty Woman……..) They took full advantage of the situation and tried on most of the display…….. even the ones that diddnt fit……..

Finally deciding on what they would like.

They were both given a small make-up set, which all four of us women in the shop couldn’t open! there really is no hope for the human race………and I am still struggling to open Charlottes now………Oh dear!!!!!!!! Long nails do have their disadvantages!

They spent the rest of the day laughing together in the garden in Charlottes Play Cottage, eating ice- creams and going on the swings…and being chased by Edward.
    A really lovely day.

    Love to you all,

    Princess Charlotte
    and her Mummy

Annabelle……….. with you at the Helm and fighting for him. Jonny will win this battle. I am proud of you my friend…….

    Hi J

Two Yorkshiremen approach each other on the village street.
    “Ay up!” says Arthur.
    “Ay up!” replies Bill.
    “Ows ta bin?”
    “Middlin”

What does “middlin” mean? Well actually it means pretty good . If Bill had been feeling down, he would have said “nobbut middlin”, or if just OK, then maybe “fair t’ middlin”, but the unqualified “middlin” is only one step below “Can’t complain”!

Luxury. We used to have to get out of the lake at three o’clock in the morning, clean the lake, eat a handful of hot gravel, go to work at the mill every day for tuppence a month, come home, and Dad would beat us around the head and neck with a broken bottle, if we were LUCKY!

    Sithee tomorrow lad..

    Lots of Love

Regular update…took Nathan to see Jonny today, he tried to climb on bed with him, then when I stated this was not appropriate, flipped and started doing his happy flapper clapper autistic patting instead…needless to say Jonny woke up and remained so for a long time…perhaps he is now going to the autistic side of the fence…not the I will love Aidy in return…

    Johnny Boy!!
have to tell you that there has been a few problems at your works whilst you
    have been asleep.
Firstly some of your guys have been throwing chair parts & components into the river at the back, old or new they have just been throwing them away regardless!!
The problem is half a mile down stream our guys have been
pulling them back out & collecting them in our backyard, then reassembling them. This has lead to a new Saturday morning industry selling office furniture from CV Graphics back yard, described as (Sold as slightly soiled),
However I thought this was rather unfair of them & felt the need to tell you. Well! that was until our accounts girl Ruth has spotted that they’ve been putting the sales through legitimately so their idea has actually increased our productivity by 20%, which was all well and good until………..well…………until….
You see all was going to plan until last Tuesday, then a chair seat floated down the river and still had your Sec. Caryn sat on it still trying to work clutching a telephone & notepad, so our guys fished her out, toweled her down and gave her a mug of tea.
She will be back with you Monday and we’ll send her clothes back when we’re finished with them!! but this mishap has forced us to quit the programme.
So, need some new ideas when you come round so get a move on Jonny boy, glad your back near to home, I’m sure that’s much better for Annabelle and the family.
I’m sure you’ll get a grip in your own time…

    Will see you soon buddy,
    Coddy.

Nice to know you’re back up north, never been happy about them southern poofs (no offense to the myriad blogger’s from down that’erways)

Greg I clearly scored full marks, but it’s easy for a yocal!

saw Susie Q (Ellis) at the Tennis club, God Ma to Tamsin I thought her previous post was a joke,,,,,,,,,
but when she asked Tamsin what she wanted to drink & suggested Vodka,Gin,Wine ,Beer then Champagne I knew it was going pear shaped! (note i purchased an Orange Juice)

Wake up Bad Boy if only to save her from Bad Boys and in this case Bad Girls! I know none of want to grow up but Susie Purleeeeeeeeese !

In all honesty she looked knacked (her words) long day with a little one,, she’s just not used to it,well i suppose she is ,just looking after Richard (again her words) is similar apparently?
Only messing she was doing a great job , i would trust her with Eve any time (less than a minute)

I think more talk of fine exclusive and strong Larger will always help !!!

All our love to you,Abell ,James ,Nathan (& Tamsin if she made it home)
from Simon (shagster),Sue and Eve, with a big surprise wake up WOOF! from Ruby

Every day one step closer to that , Phal curry!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was distraught when I heard the terrible news and my heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I am pleased that your fighting spirit is strong and on a daily basis the news is getting better, like all your many friends I am willing you on and we are trying to reinforce your courage and that of course of your family.

All of us have different memories of you, which we are replaying time and again in our minds and reliving. I go back to the first time I met you about 20 years ago or so now when I was so fantastically entertained at your home when your Dad invited me shooting. I remember the warmth and friendship and above all a household full of love and spontaneous laughter.

Over the years since I have watched in admiration as you carved your own indelible identity in our industry and gained the respect and plaudits you so richly deserve. Whenever we met even if it hadn’t been for a couple of years nothing changed and we seemed to be able to pick up just where we had left it before – always the same smiling sunny disposition, and as a Welshman I know you will forgive me – the Northern drawl that necessitates a retune!

The last occasion was walking in the beautiful surroundings of the Lake District in October where over the course of a couple of challenging miles we put our industry (amongst other things) to rights! It was a pleasure and privilege to be in your company and I look forward to us doing it again soon, so in your own time stop snoozing, wake up and get cracking because reading this blog you have so many friends who want to do so many things with you (mainly curry and alcohol related it has to be said!!) that there isn’t a moment to be lost.

I know little about riding bikes as cars are so much better but even I can tell from the photo the way you are holding the tree that your grip is all wrong so just relax it can easily be fixed!!

Finally to your immediate family your strength and courage is amazing and our thoughts are with you all as well. If there is anything I can do to help at any stage you need only ask.

With very best wishes to you all.

    Paul

So pleased for you all that Jonny has moved north and is comfortable..

Charlotte and I are looking forward to having Princess Tamsin tomorrow. The Barbies have been pre-warned that they are going to spend ALL DAY being dressed and undressed…..

The Drama Queens ( they do drama together on a Saturday Morning )
I’m not sure why we send them sometimes… as they can create enough drama themselves without being taught!

However I am assured that it is being channelled into more of a creative direction….

All our love and thoughts to you all.

    Princess Charlotte

and her Mummy me Vicky G.

    Hi Jonny

Moved back to your roots then. well that’s better, I am sure breathing proper Yorkshire air instead of the kilns around the Potteries, feels great I am sure

I am sure you will get more visitors now and stops Annabelle’s slog across country.

Well keep going, sounds if you are doing well and I am sure with all the care and good thoughts coming in you will move along even quicker.

    All the very best

I guess that would have been the slowest journey you endured for a while, Mr Curry Hill. Spoke to Kara again in Venezuala who fell off her kite surfer with a bang, but landed on water…can I suggest you try water next time, it is softer. She says I have to give you a kiss, but I’ll leave that to your wife!
I may have known you a long time, but I am not going to start kissing you now!
